Orlando and his team are communicative and speedy. They replaced my roof and balcony in 3 days and came out to work on a Saturday to finish up before the snow. They are professional and do great work.
We had such a great experience getting a new roof with Eddie’s crew a few weeks ago that we had them come back to coat our balcony. Each time we work with them they are quick to respond and get you on the schedule. They were a little late the day of but made up for it by finishing the job very quickly. They did great work and would hire them again.
Philly’s Phinest was everything we were looking for in a roofer. After getting upsold and strung along by several other roofers in the city, it was refreshing to deal with Eddie, whose expertise allowed him to quickly diagnose our issues and provide a fair, straightforward price. Even better, they were able to come out the next day before rain came and deliver high quality work, including a full roof repair and silicone coating, as well as sealing the back side of the house in a spot that others couldn’t easily access. Highly recommend these guys for anyone looking for efficient and quality work without drama.
Eddie is a nice guy, but if you've paid and something goes wrong he will ghost you. I read another person's review similar to this and assumed it wouldn't happen to me. We paid for 1 gutter to be replaced and they installed the wrong size. I went on my neighbor's 2nd floor deck and measured (see image). We paid for a 6" gutter and they installed a 5" gutter. On top of that the workers installing it lied about the size as I texted them while they were installing it (see picture of text message). For months I texted and called Eddie to address the issue and he would promise to come week after week and never show. Eventually he wouldn't pickup the phone for me. This is your fair warning that Philly's Finest Roofing may not provide the product you paid for, may lie directly to you, and they may not fulfill any guarantees they offered you. Check out BBB, they have an "F" rating. I do hope you have a better experience than I did if you choose to use them.
This team came through in the clutch! We had a decent storm that caused a leak in our kitchen and figured we just needed some sealant or flashing. These guys came out next day and were on the roof to inspect-free of charge. By later that afternoon they began the work and that's when we discovered massive issues beneath the roof line and siding. Turns out the previous renovation was done without permits and out of code. These guys caught the problem and communicated with me extensively throughout the process. Yes, this was a huge expense but anyone could see that there were serious issues that could have led to dangerous consequences. The team worked 6 days in a row to fully remove the walls and roof all the way down to the studs, install new window, fresh siding, and ensure that we were minimally inconvenienced. The team finished up with a full cleaning and we couldn't be happier we found this professional team for this critical fix! THANK YOU!
Eddie and Philly's Phinest are really a godsend. We bought a house knowing that the roof would be an issue, but hoped we could tackle it over time. We'd decided to put off the big project and only deal with immediate issues, which is when we were introduced to Eddie. For that job, it was clear he was going to be less expensive and cheaper, but we could have never anticipated how terrific he and his team would be. When we saw how quick, responsible, and reliable they were, we immediately decided to have them take on the full job and handle it for once and for all. The cost remained exceedingly fair, and his team worked over the holiday weekend to get the job done. I was ready for the roof to be a headache hanging over our heads for years, and now I feel like I never need to worry about it again. I'd read some of these negative reviews before diving in and I'm so glad I ignored them -- Eddie really did right by us, and I could not be more grateful.
They were quick and precise. We tried another local roofer and after initial phone call never showed up and never got back to us. We had a hole in our roof and I filled out the info online, at 8:02 am, on a Monday, and I literally received a call back by 8:04 ! They came out to look at the roof by 9:30 am and did the roof the next morning.! They did a wonderful job. Had someone on my roof FaceTime to show me what needed to be done and what it looked like finished. If I could give just one drawback is I did have to clean up afterwards. I recommend! They did a wonderful job and super quick response.
Eddie saved me lots of headache and money. Showed up within 3 hours of calling him regarding a leak in the back room of my home. Was able to identify the issue before even getting on the roof then confirmed it was what he said by facetiming me rather than just telling me it was. Although he had a full schedule he made it a point to return not even an hour later and silver coated my roof knowing it will rain all weekend. Highly recommended! We came home from a weekend away to find out that our roof was leaking into our house and soaking the drywall inside. We immediately reached out to the folks at PPR and they came out the next morning to assess our situation. One of the gentlemen climbed up on our roof while the owner stayed down on the ground with me, showing me the camera feed from FaceTime which helped me to understand and visualize the cause of our leak. After identifying the source, we walked through possible options and discussed an immediate plan to get our issue resolved. The crew arrived the next morning and asked questions about where they could setup for the job, being respectful to our property and the neighbors around us. I was curious about the work that was being performed and the crew was helpful explaining the process periodically along the way. We feel confident that our roof will last for many years to come. We would definitely recommend PPR to any of our friends or family in need of roofing work at their property
