Back in march/ may 2023 they were supposed to fix a roof leak at My new home . They did not. It was still leaking & is still leaking. It’s been MONTHS. They came out apparently a few times, yet no update or phone call. I now can’t even call the number. My roof has been leaking for months. I’m looking into what I can legally do at this point. - update : he said it’s bc of frozen pipes , yet the same leaks have been happening since before it was ever freezing out & the same spots have even more water damage now. The work I paid for & he said he’d do is defective. Been almost a year & it’s still leaking. Do NOT hire .
As a Realtor I have used Ed Shinn and his crew both personally and professionally. He is always able to address the issue, be it a small repair or entirely new roof, in a well done and efficient manner at a very fair cost.
I wish I could give 5 stars, but because of the way the whole situation was handled, I can't. I called this company based on recommendations online in reviews. They quoted me a fair price if we paid cash. I asked for a picture of the roof when done, and he said they would. After it was done, I never got a picture, he said we're not really picture takers. In this day and age, who doesn't have a phone that takes pics? So basically I have no idea if we have a newly fixed roof, I even had to ask him to write out a receipt showing what was done. Do I have a new roof? Who knows?😞
I just bought a home and Ed was recommended by my realtor. I needed a new roof, per my insurance company, due to the age of the roof. Ed and his crew did a great job! Ed was very easy to work with and scheduled the work quickly, which was very important to me as I had a timeline from my insurance company. He took his time to explain everything to me, and the completed work was quality and a very fair price.
Our roof started leaking a week ago so I reached out to all of the higher rated companies in the area on Sunday. After meeting with and/or contacting multiple roofing contractors we decided to move forward with this company and Ed (I think that was his name) because of pricing and customer service. When I met him I liked that he listened to and answered all of my questions. He also showed me inside and outside of my house where the trouble spots were and how his company would fix it (he's been in business 30 years). Per his word his team arrived promptly when he said they would and got to work. Ed told me to reach out should I have any issues in the future, but he reiterated his confidence that the issue had been resolved. I could not be more satisfied with the service I received.
