Exceptional experience from start to finish. Came out when I was in need of work on my roof rather quickly. Identified the issue and recommended solution. Within 3 days my roof was replaced (and that was because they were working around weather or it would have been quicker). Would absolutely recommend for anyone in need of work on their roof.
I believe they performed a good service on my roof, but do not expect anything beyond that or their wish to establish a long term relationship. Initially very quick and efficient service. We had our roof inspected within a day, and were given good information as to the state of the roof and what could and could not be done for it. The estimate was reasonable and a new roof covering was applied in another day. The team that did the work were self sufficient and left the area clean and clear. Unfortunately lack of follow up service and strict adhearance to fine print has voided my warranty within the first month.
Frank provided a review, explanation, and estimate the very day we contacted Loonstyn, and the cost was much more competitive than other roofers. A couple days later Bob and his crew arrived and after a couple hours had put covers on the gutter and sealed up the roof along the edges of both 2d and 3d floor roofs. The work looks good for sure, and the rapid response and good price are satisfying. I am withholding one star because I won't know how effective the work is in preventing further leaks until the snows return in winter.
Frank was great when he came out fo assess what needs to be done to fix a roof leak. He was fast and efficient, and had drone pictures to illustrate what the current roof condition was. The crew that came to lay down the modified bitumen (most common with Philly flat roofs) was also very fast, efficient, and very clean. There is no trace that they were here.
I’ve had nothing but great experiences working with Jack and his crew over the past year. They repaired siding at my house last year that was immediately put to test with strong winds and rain, and this year they were quick to help again after the snowstorm, when I dealt with issues from the snow on my roof. Jack is very responsive and always explains the issue and the work needed in a way that’s easy to understand. His crew is fast, efficient, and took the time to walk me through what they were seeing and fixing. I really appreciate their professionalism and communication and would happily recommend them!
A gentleman came out to my house last April after my entryway showed a leak cause our area had a ton of rainfall. He got right up on the roof and found an area that wasn't properly sealed, and he sealed it up on the spot- at no cost to me. What was supposed to be a free estimate turned into an immediate solution. He was professional, kind, and personable. I really appreciate what he did and if I ever need roof repairs, I heartily recommend the folks at FM & Loonstyn.

Frank and his team are the absolute best! Frank is the only roofer that I would ever call and the only roofer that I would ever refer my clients, friends and neighbors to. He has handled everything from a regular flat roof in the city, to a shingled roof in the suburbs, to a massive multi family property in a historic district for various clients of mine and every single time has delivered the A+ standard of service. Highly recommend !!
Great experience working with FM & Loonstyn. They were prompt in getting out to give an estimate, transparent in their assessment that we weren’t in urgent need of a new roof, patient in answering my many questions, and then quick to get us on the schedule to do the work. Finished product looks good — plus, you get the peace of mind with the 12 year warranty. I’d recommend them to a friend or family member.
My husband and I were very pleased with the work FM & Loonstyn did on our house. We had both our flat roofs and mansard replaced. Replacing a Victorian mansard roof is no easy feat, but the team tackled it tremendously with their expert skills and collaboration. They were always prompt and gave us realistic time windows for when the work would be finished. Communication with Frank was clear and seamless. Prior to getting our roof replaced, we had a leak. We no longer have leaking and have a roof that will last us years to come. We’re very happy with the final results.

Frank was responsive from the start, came out quickly to evaluate my roof, and gave a thorough and honest assessment with multiple options for repair or replacement. He always answered my questions quickly and clearly throughout the process. I decided on a full tear-off and roof replacement. The crew did an excellent job, worked efficiently, and went above and beyond by hanging plastic to protect areas where ceilings had been opened for mold remediation. They removed the plastic and even vacuumed when the work was done. They also provided photos before, during, and after the project, which was really helpful. A couple of weeks later, I noticed a small water intrusion. The team came out quickly, identified the issue, and fixed it right away. I got several quotes, including cheaper ones, but I felt the most confident working with Frank, and the quality of the work proved it was the right choice and worth the cost. Recommended by a neighbor and I'm glad I went with FM & Loonstyn Roofing. Quick response, extremely fair pricing, and great work. Within 5 days of coming out and giving us a quote, we had everything completed, and we were dealing with crazy weather too. I have never had any roofers move so quickly. With the full roof warranty it was a no brainer to go for the full roof repair. But it was offered just the patch as a more economical option. There was never any pressure. Frank was very responsive and mindful. Really happy with the job and even with all the rain, inside has been dry!
