I recently had a roofing job completed and couldn’t be happier with the results. The quality of the work was excellent, and it’s clear the crew takes pride in what they do. From start to finish, communication was smooth and professional, they kept me informed at every step and answered all my questions promptly. On top of that, the pricing was fair and very competitive for the level of service provided. Reliable, affordable, knowledgeable! I had an old leaky roof after a big snow storm. Big Joe’s came out the very next morning. They could have very easily said I needed a new roof (because I knew I did) but they offered me different options to fix the problem. The prices they gave me were better than I ever expected. Every person I interacted with was extremely professional and knowledgeable. Communication was exceptional as I knew what to expect and when. The process was so fast. They came Wednesday, cleared a lot of ice and snow Thursday and I had a new roof and skylight by lunchtime on Friday (with a 12 year warranty)! It was a true pleasure having a business that I could actually trust and rely on. As you are reading reviews trying to pick the “right” place…Big Joe’s Roofing is it!
Big Joe’s Roofing did an exceptional job. They contacted us the same day we submitted a form online. We got an email from Joe and then a follow up text from Pat, he said that he could stop by early in the morning and do an inspection and he did just that. We got an estimate after he inspected the roof. They offered us fair pricing and quality service. When they did our roofing today for us and fixed our skylight, they did it in a timely fashion and we were blown away by how different our roof looked now as opposed to before. We cannot thank Big Joe’s enough, they worked in the snowy weather conditions so we do appreciate it.
I cannot say enough good things about this company - we hired them on two separate occasions to do smaller jobs (front porch and back kitchen addition) and most recently to replace our entire roof. The owner is extremely communicative and his team was incredibly skilled and thorough. We were thrilled by the quality of the work and the company’s responsiveness and attention to detail!
Outstanding experience from start to finish. Competitive pricing, personable/knowledgeable team, and incredibly easy scheduling! They promptly came out for an no hassle estimate and provided me with photos of my old roof’s condition. They were able to get me on the books almost right away. The team came out, went to work and were done the same day. They cleaned up so well afterwards that I thought the landscaper had been by to do the yard! Excellent service all around. I highly recommend their services!
Big Joe’s did a great job installing a rubber roof on my rowhouse. They came out to give me an estimate the same day I called and explained what was needed clearly. They offered to do the work the next day, came at the agreed-on time, and did good work. They also cleaned up well afterwards. My only complaint is that I had previously reached out to them via their website contact form and didn’t hear back, so I’d recommend calling for quick info and service!
Called Big Joe about an issue with my roof. He sent his people to check my roof within an hour. They took pictures and we talked on the phone and he serviced my roof the next day! I’ve attached photos of the before and after. Great service! Great Pricing! 100% Professional!
Big Joe’s did an amazing job for us. We noticed a weird dripping sound one night, they were out the next day to evaluate. And after finding a leak we’re able to schedule for the very NEXT day! We really didn’t want to wait for another rain storm, so speed was absolutely critical and so appreciated. They even found where the previous contractor had cut corners and repaired that as well! We can’t thank Big Joe’s enough for their speed, availability, and kindness. If you need a new roof, they are whom you should call.

Where do I begin? I manage a property in Northeast Philly, and when our tenant notified us the roof was failing, we reached out to several companies. We ultimately chose Big Joe’s Roofing based on the tenant’s recommendation—they had replaced her parents’ roof in the past. From start to finish, the experience was outstanding. Communication was top-notch, pricing was very competitive (if not the lowest), and the workmanship was superb. Big Joe documented every step of the process—by 8 AM the old roof was fully stripped, and by 12:30 PM the large new roof was complete! What really impressed me was the attention to detail: high-quality drone photos, transparent updates, and clear documentation of necessary plywood replacements—all done at a reasonable rate. They even cut in a ridge vent and installed the cap without hesitation, going above code without being asked. A huge thank you to Big Joe and his wife Kelley for making the entire process smooth and stress-free, including managing payment over the phone. Truly a 5-star experience. Highly recommended!
