I had a fantastic experience working with Akil and team on a couple of projects with my house. They were communicative and pricing was fair. All of the work is top notch. I plan to use them for any future house work as well! Thankful to have found Akiladelphia!!

We hired Akiladelphia primarily to address the rat and mouse infestation issue in our house. They were getting in through our crawl space, basement wall, and the walls behind our kitchen cabinets. In the evening we'd hear them running back and forth through our living room ceiling and could even hear them in the walls in our bedrooms. While we were at it, we asked Akil and his crew to remodel our kitchen (pictures included). Akil's crew reinforced our basement walls, dug us a real crawl space, poured a slab of concrete to seal it, redid the crawl space walls, and added lighting and insulation down there. Then they cut out the drywall in the kitchen and put in metal sheeting and concrete behind it to keep rodents from re-entering. Finally, they remodeled the kitchen, including the new floor, installed new cabinets, new countertop, new backsplash, even built the new window above the sink, added recessed lighting, new back door, and new pantry cabinets around the refrigerator. The added storage space and natural light in the kitchen have been especially beneficial to us. It's been almost a year now since they finished and in that time we've not seen a single rat and only saw one mouse that whole time when the house next door was getting re-done. Akil went the extra mile to keep the rodents out and it's been a big help. We also love the kitchen, and the price for all the work was very reasonable!

My new condo was only lacking in one thing---storage space. I needed a large closet built and rewiring of an outlet for a stackable washer and dryer to free up another closet. I searched for months to find a contractor who would even give me an estimate, let alone agree to do the work. I guess they thought it was too small a job to undertake. Then I found Akil after a friend recommended him. Akil gave me an estimate (which included a senior discount and a donation made to a charity of my choice) and agreed to do the work in a timely fashion. His team did a great job. The closet looks like it had always been there, and I was finally able to finish unpacking my boxes!

Akil and his group did an amazing job for us. They put in a new bathroom for us (photo attached) with complicated plumbing. They also installed several ceiling fans, a barn door, and some extra storage. We were completely satisfied with the work and recommend them highly.
